I am of the seventh generation in the Doub Lineage. Johannes Daub (John Doub) was my great, great, great, great grandfather. You can trace my lineage this way:

I became interested in the Doub family tree about 2 years ago, when I was going through a huge box of family photos with my mother, Alice Jones. I was struck, for whatever reason, by the amount of history that was contained in that box, and I wanted to do something to preserve it. So, I began scanning photos, documents, and other artifacts. One thing led to another, and the next thing I knew, I had purchased the domain doubfamily.com and I created this website.

Little did I know, at the time, that this would be the vehicle for me to "meet" so many other Doub family members! The input and updates they provided over the past year or so have fueled my motivation that much more. So, I am excited to finally be able to launch the revamped, now-database-driven doubfamily.com website. I am glad you have found us, and I hope we have been helpful. I welcome any and all updates you may have, and even enjoy just a little hello from a distant cousin.
